Nigerian street singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, known as Portable, has openly confronted Tanzanian artist Juma Jux for refusing to collaborate with him. Portable took to Instagram to express anger after hearing the new track Juma Jux recorded with Nigerian singer Ekunrawo.

He accused the Tanzanian star of sneaking into Nigeria without informing him and working on a song that he believed should have included him. Portable insisted that the artists must add him to the track titled Halima. He wrote that Juma Jux entered the country, recorded a song with Ekunrawo, and never bothered to reach out, stressing that they must “find space” for him on the project.
His demand immediately triggered reactions online. Some users mocked Portable for insisting on a verse, while others encouraged Juma Jux to ignore him completely. A few fans, however, supported Portable’s boldness and argued that the collaboration could bring more attention to the song.
Portable maintained that he deserved to be part of the track and continued pressing for inclusion, keeping his usual fiery and unapologetic energy in the spotlight.
While some see his reaction as overconfidence, others view it as part of his signature outspoken persona. Whether he ultimately gets a verse on Halima remains to be seen, but the controversy has certainly drawn more attention to the collaboration.
