Nigerian singer Asake has reached a major career milestone by becoming the artist with the most entries in the history of the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, he officially hit 60 entries.
The milestone was solidified as his latest collaboration with Wizkid, titled Jogodo, climbed to number four on the chart this week. Asake, often referred to as “Mr. Money,” continues to outpace other performers in terms of sheer chart volume.
Asake said:
“I’m thrilled to reach 60 entries on the Billboard Afrobeats chart. This milestone is a testament to my fans’ unwavering support and the growing global love for Afrobeats.”
While Asake leads in total entries, South African singer Tyla maintained the number one spot this week with her track Channel. Tyla was recently recognized as the top Afrobeats artist for 2025, and her global hit Water holds the record for the longest-running number-one song on the chart, spending 55 weeks at the peak.
The surge in entries reflects the growing commercial influence of Afrobeats in the United States music market.
