Nollywood actress and political aide Eniola Badmus has threatened legal action over serious allegations circulating on social media. Eniola Badmus, who currently serves as Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings, denied claims that she facilitates relationships between young women and politicians.
The controversy began on X, formerly known as Twitter. A user identified as @Femzydr1 accused the actress of operating a “private pimping network.” The user further alleged that she used such activities to secure her political appointment and to exploit young women for influential figures.
The actress responded directly to the claims on her page. She described the allegations as false and defamatory.
“This is the attention you’ve been craving for, so let’s get into it. This is a false accusation and the authorities will step in.”
She also made it clear that she intends to pursue the matter legally.
“Let it be known that we don’t forgive in this zone.”
This is not the first time Eniola Badmus has faced similar accusations. About three years ago, a woman named Oge accused her of being a “professional pimp.” However, the accuser later retracted the claim after her arrest. She reportedly admitted that she was paid ₦200,000 to fabricate the story and damage the actress’s reputation.
With her latest response, Eniola Badmus has signaled that the issue may move beyond social media. The matter could now transition into a formal investigation as she seeks legal remedies to protect her name and career.
