Early Life

Olajumoke Odetola was born on 16 October 1988 in Lagos, Nigeria. She attended ABATI Nursery and Primary School in Lagos before proceeding to Abeokuta Grammar School, Ogun State, for her secondary education. She went on to earn a first degree in Information and Communication Technology from Ajayi Crowther University, later adding a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Career

Jumoke Odetola began her Nollywood career in English-language cinema before transitioning into Yoruba-language films, where she has become known for her sharp interpretation of scripts and daring sense of fashion. Despite her technology background, she built a full-time career in front of the camera, working as an actress, model and film producer across a wide range of Yoruba indigenous productions.
