Our humble Yoruba demon has made the headlines once again. Ever since the man from Bajuwen village hit a million plus followers on Instagram, fans can’t stop predicting his unrivaled victory. However, Mr. cool, calm and collected is actually being criticized for recent his comment; in which have divided Big Brother Naija fans on twitter.
While playing a card game, Laycon and Vee made it to the final of the mini leisure tournament and the upcoming artist had this to say “we finalists don’t roll with people that have been disqualified”. Although he was referring to Nengi, Neo and Dorathy, Laycons comment have been read as shades being thrown at Erica.
After the drama that led to her disqualification, Erica’s relationship with Laycon has taken a significant dip and his comment seems to have added an unintended fuel to the fire. @Eyesaymymind said “I’m literally in tears after watching Laycon mock Erica for being disqualified” along with a comment from @UncleMaazi saying “ Voting is over He is showing his real self. Are you all surprised?” Laycons fans came in defense as @SwedishRat said “So because a housemate was been disqualified, the word “disqualified” can’t be used on the show anymore”.
What seemed a harmless and jovial comment is being used as point to defame one’s character.
