Makemation, Africa’s first feature film focused on artificial intelligence, is set to break new ground with its eagerly awaited global release in Lagos, Nigeria, this Easter.
This groundbreaking production has already captured worldwide attention, debuting with a teaser at the 2024 Global AI Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, holding a private viewing at Kenya Innovation Week 2024, and hosting an exclusive screening at the U.S. Consul General’s residence in Lagos before the Global Inclusivity and AI Africa Conference.
Nigerian audiences will be the first to experience its full cinematic debut when it premieres in theaters nationwide on April 18, 2025.
The film will then spread to other African nations, the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East in May 2025.
