Early Life
Sandra Ese Osayamon Okunzuwa, born on February 25, 1996, in Benin City, Edo State, is a Nigerian lawyer, actress, and film producer. She began her education at the Federal Government Girls’ College in Benin. With a strong academic drive, she continued to the University of Benin (UNIBEN), where she earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 2015. Her legal training laid a solid foundation before she transitioned into the creative world of Nollywood.
Career
Sandra Okunzuwa launched her acting career in 2018, making her debut in the film Blind Spot, where she portrayed the character Ekemini. Her captivating performance quickly drew attention, and she went on to star in various successful productions, including Dear Dianne and Second Chance. Her consistency and depth as an actress have earned her praise in the Nigerian film industry.
In 2021, she received recognition at the Eko Star Film & TV Awards, celebrating her contribution to cinema. That same year, she co-hosted the Africa Choice Awards alongside Ike Onyema, showcasing her versatility beyond acting.
Sandra also thrives as an entrepreneur. She leads two businesses Swift Girls and Wig Excel which specialize in beauty and hair products. Her entrepreneurial ventures reflect her creativity and business acumen.
In addition to her work in entertainment and business, Sandra founded the Sandra Okunzuwa Foundation, a charitable organization focused on empowering disadvantaged individuals and communities. Despite her public presence, Sandra keeps her private life discreet and is currently considered single.
