Shaffy Bello was born on October 8, 1970. Born and raised in the United States, Shaffy completed her education there before returning to Nigeria to pursue her passion for entertainment. She is a celebrated Nigerian actress and singer who made her entry into the entertainment scene in 1997 when she lent her vocals to the hit song Love Me Jeje by Seyi Sodimu.

Career

She made her acting debut in the Yoruba film Eti Keta, quickly gaining attention for her presence and charisma. In 2012, she secured a prominent role as Joanne Lawson in the television series Tinsel, followed by another strong performance as Adesuwa in Taste of Love. These roles helped cement her reputation as a versatile and dynamic actress.

Over the years, she has appeared in a range of notable films and TV projects including When Love Happens, Gbomo Gbomo Express, Chief Daddy, Elesin Oba: The King’s Horseman, and the gritty drama Shanty Town. Her ability to seamlessly transition between Yoruba and English-language roles showcases her depth and versatility as a performer.
