Early Life

Clinton Joshua Ezewele, professionally known as Clinton Joshua, was born on June 6, 1998, in Edo State, Nigeria. He belongs to the Esan ethnic group, a significant cultural community in southern Nigeria. Raised in a culturally rich environment, he developed an early interest in fashion and the performing arts. He attended both primary and secondary school in Edo State before advancing to higher education. Clinton earned a degree in Media Communication and English, which helped shape his communication skills and creative direction.

Career

Clinton Joshua launched his modeling career in Edo State, where his distinct appearance drew attention from local designers and photographers. He quickly became a regular face in fashion competitions and regional showcases. His rise to national prominence began in 2022 when he walked the runway at the GTCO Fashion Weekend in Lagos. He went on to model at high-profile events like VVS Lagos and worked with renowned designers, including Romeo Hunte.

While modeling gave him a strong start, Clinton’s true passion lay in acting. In 2023, he began pursuing acting under the guidance of respected Nollywood producer Uchenna Mbunabo. His breakout role in When Angels Meet revealed his potential on screen and opened doors to new opportunities. His performance in the 2024 hit film Treasure In The Sky marked a turning point in his acting career.

Since then, Clinton has featured in various Nollywood films, such as Young Couple, When You Love June, and My Crazy Rich Girlfriend, where he displayed his talent across romance, drama, and action genres. He has shared the screen with popular actors like Chinenye Nnebe, Regina Daniels, and Somadina Adinma.
