In a surprising twist, former Big Brother Naija housemate Sabrina has opened up about the real reason behind her abrupt exit from the reality show. The 32-year-old contestant initially left the house for a health-related break but has now revealed that she was medically cleared to return—only to be denied re-entry.
During an Instagram Live session, Sabrina shared details of her experience. She explained that after leaving the house, she was taken to a hospital for several medical tests. To her relief, the results came back normal. This gave her hope that she would soon rejoin her fellow housemates.

“After exiting, I was transported to a hospital and led to a gynaecologist… All results were unremarkable. Nothing was wrong with me. I was told I was fine,” she said.
However, things took an unexpected turn. For five days, Sabrina was kept in isolation without access to her phone or the outside world. She prayed and waited for clearance to return. But her hopes were crushed when she received a painful call on Friday.
“On the call, I was told, ‘I have the unfortunate task of telling you that you would no longer be returning to the show,’” she recalled.
Sabrina admitted that the decision left her deeply disappointed. She said she misses the house, the diary sessions, and especially her close friend, Kola.
Fans have since expressed sympathy, but many are left wondering why a contestant who was declared medically fit could not continue in the game. Multichoice, the show’s organizer, has yet to give a clear explanation beyond their initial statement citing “health reasons.”
For now, Sabrina is beginning her life outside the house while holding on to the belief that her journey isn’t over.
