Patoranking Returns with New Single “No Jonze”
After several months away, Nigerian reggae-dancehall artist Patoranking is back with a bang. He just released his new single titled No Jonze on October 15, 2025.
The song fuses Afro-dancehall with the raw, gritty sounds of Galala music — a style born in Ajegunle, Lagos in the late 90s. Patoranking’s fresh take creates an energetic vibe that fans love.
No Jonze also encourages listeners to stay focused and hustle hard. The title phrase means “no jokes” or “no playing around,” turning local slang into a powerful anthem.
Music Video and Visuals
The official music video was also directed by acclaimed Nigerian filmmaker Director K. It was shot in Ajegunle and also features cameos from Galala pioneers like Marvelous Benjy and Allen B.
The video pays homage to Lagos street culture and highlights legends of the genre with a vibrant mural, blending nostalgic and modern elements.
