Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sweezy, has publicly accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of intimidation and abuse of power. In multiple Instagram posts, Sweezy alleged that Ned used his influence to harass their family and urged Nigerians to sign a petition demanding accountability.

According to Sweezy, if Ned Nwoko truly holds credentials as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, he can be reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for alleged misconduct. He emphasized that issues like abuse, harassment, and misuse of authority are taken seriously under international standards.

The circulating petition, titled “Hold Ned Nwoko Accountable for Abuse of Power,” has already gathered thousands of signatures. Sweezy also shared an open letter written on behalf of the Ogwashi-Uku community, condemning the alleged harassment of Regina’s family. The letter stated that in their tradition, marriage is never forced and that the community had attempted to return the bride price multiple times, but Ned reportedly refused to accept it.

The letter further described the alleged arrest and detention of family members as an insult to their culture and dignity. It warned that continued intimidation would push them to pursue both traditional and legal actions.

Sweezy also claimed to possess video and voice evidence of Ned admitting to slapping Regina. He said he had attempted to resolve matters privately but decided to go public after the situation worsened. He concluded by demanding the release of their detained brother, Sammy West.

Sweezy’s revelations have sparked public debate and renewed concern over the intersection of power, family, and justice.
