Nigerian singer and songwriter Lindsey Abudei, born February 6,1987, is one of the few artistes in the music scene,who has taken a turn away from the more popular genre(s) and has found her own in a genre she tags as Neo Soul/Alternative.
She has strong influences that are traced to the 70s,the Motown era and the 90s.
She has been described as everything; from songbird to songstress,sultry to sonorous,emotion evoking to even effortlessly earth moving and yet these terms only scratch the surface to what Lindsey’s voice and music are.
In her sultry rhythms,movements and harmonies,she reminds you of her influences and yet shows off her signature in her sound.
Lindsey has headlined live shows,unplugged sessions for her EP and has opened for international touring bands such as the Nicolas Folmer Quartet.
