Kannywood singer and actor Ado Gwanja has released a new single titled “Rikici,” teaming up with fellow Northern Nigerian star DJ AB for a 2026 collaboration that brings together two of Kano and Kaduna’s most recognisable voices.
The track sees Ado Gwanja’s melodic, youth-friendly delivery paired with DJ AB’s more rap-driven, bilingual style, a combination the two have built on their shared standing within the Arewa music scene.
“Rikici” adds to a steady run of releases for Ado Gwanja in 2026, following his continued output across both music and Kannywood film, and reinforces his position as one of the more consistently active names in contemporary Hausa entertainment.
