Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has publicly addressed the origins of his long-running feud with fellow rapper Odumodublvck, tracing it back to a woman both men were involved with around 2023.
Speaking on the Nevon HQ podcast, Blaqbonez described a non-exclusive relationship with the woman that he says ended before Odumodublvck learned of it, adding that a subsequent phone confrontation between the two rappers marked the start of their falling out. He said he has since pursued legal action over separate allegations Odumodublvck made against him online in June 2026.
The woman at the centre of the dispute, Fejiro Onohwosa, issued her own public statement on August 19, disputing Blaqbonez’s account. She alleged a pattern of harassment and the non-consensual sharing of private content, and said she filed a police petition through solicitors in late 2024, with plans to pursue the matter further in court.
Both sides have now made competing public claims, with Blaqbonez maintaining he intends to contest the allegations in court and Onohwosa maintaining her own account of events. Neither claim has been independently verified or tested in a legal setting.
The dispute, which began as a rap rivalry between two of Nigeria’s prominent hip-hop artists, has since evolved into a much more personal and public matter, with all three parties indicating the story is far from over.
