Charles Chuckuwuemeka Oputa is one of Nigeria’s most iconic musicians. We all know him as Charlie Boy. The media personality has always recieved the spotlight for his alternative lifestyle, media productions and political views.
Looking at the Latter, Charlie Boy took to his Instagram page to criticize Governor Duoye Diri. He is unsettled at the favoritism shown to entertainers in regards to political office. Charlie Boy used the title “The Irony of The Nigerian State.”
The veteran media personality believes that BBN’s Nengi should not have been given a political office. He adds that
“The young lady with white is a first class graduate of the Niger Delta university, Faculty of Law, as well as a first class graduate Nigeria Law School… she was not Honnored by her Bayelsa State Government…
In another development, a girl, who is a second Class Graduate and a participant(A Runner Up) in the “Big Brother Naija” show , was given a State Reception and was also Honored with a Government Appointment, also declared the Role Model to the Bayelsa State Girl Child“
Charlie Boy, 69, uses this Irony to express his dissatisfaction at the Nigerian government. He also annoyed at the thought that the girl child is being convinced that being a Big Brother Naija contestant is more profitable than going school and attaining a degree.
