The Dangote Refinery has officially reduced the price of petrol across Nigeria, marking a significant move for consumers and fuel marketers. According to the new pricing template, petrol now ranges between ₦875 and ₦905 per litre, depending on location.

These revised rates apply to all partner retail outlets working with the Dangote Refinery. These include top marketers like MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy. The new pricing policy is expected to bring relief to consumers dealing with recent fuel price hikes.
In a public statement, Dangote Refinery said, “Our quality petrol and diesel are refined for better engine performance and are environmentally friendly.”
This price cut comes shortly after the refinery announced a naira-for-crude deal, which the company credits for making lower pump prices possible.
According to Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, “The decision to maintain price stability reflects our unwavering commitment to supporting the Nigerian economy and easing the burden on consumers.”
He added that the company remains focused on keeping fuel prices affordable and stable, assuring Nigerians that the refinery will continue to play a vital role in energy security.
