Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has denied allegations that he is the biological father of a teenage girl who recently appealed for a DNA test to confirm her paternity.

The issue resurfaced on January 15, 2026, after the girl, identified in reports as Mitchelle Anuoluwapo or Anuoluwapo Mitchelle, shared an emotional post on Instagram. In her message, she described years of bullying and emotional distress linked to the unresolved claim and respectfully asked Davido to take a DNA test.

Davido responded on social media, including X and Instagram, firmly rejecting the allegation. He stated that the matter had already been resolved through multiple DNA tests.

He said:

“This is the last time I will speak on this matter.”

“After 5 DNA test … she Dey crase .. her and her mom better leave me the f*** alone and go find her papa.”

“Yes I chose 3 hospitals and they chose their own two hospitals .. all came out Negative .. this is the last time I’m speaking on this nonsense.”

Davido explained that five DNA tests were conducted across different medical centers. Three were selected by him, while two were chosen by the girl and her mother. According to the singer, all results confirmed he is not the biological father.

He added that he has never had a personal relationship with the girl’s mother, stating that their only interactions occurred during the DNA testing process. While describing the situation as emotionally draining, he said he does not blame the teenager.

This paternity dispute dates back over a decade, with previous statements from Davido and his representatives also citing negative DNA results. The singer maintains that the issue is settled and has said he will not address it again publicly.
