Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced that she will sue Pastor Chris Okafor, accusing him of breaking a promise to marry her and marrying another woman instead. She revealed the plans during a live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze.
Ogala explained that she decided to take legal action because Pastor Okafor made a firm commitment to marry her, which he failed to honor. She claimed his actions caused her significant emotional distress and warranted a court case.
During the interview, Ogala addressed her past conduct while still married to her former husband. She admitted that she engaged in a phone-based romantic relationship with Pastor Okafor but insisted there was no physical involvement. She described her actions as a mistake she now regrets.
Ogala stated that she possesses concrete evidence to support her claims. She said she has chat records, screen recordings, and a video showing relevant dates and phone details. Daddy Freeze warned her not to release the materials publicly, citing potential legal consequences related to privacy laws.
Despite the caution, Ogala confirmed that she authorized her lawyer to proceed with the case. She argued that Pastor Okafor’s subsequent marriage to another woman, after promising her marriage, gives her sufficient grounds for legal action.
As of now, Pastor Chris Okafor has not responded to the allegations.
Ogala said, “I am suing Chris because he promised me marriage, and that’s a crime under the law. He left me for another woman. I have proof, I have evidence. He’ll hear from my lawyer very soon. Chris knew I was married, though I used to be his girlfriend.”
The case highlights a high-profile dispute involving alleged broken commitments, personal relationships, and potential legal consequences. Ogala remains determined to pursue justice through the courts.
