Hausa music’s ‘Princess,’ Fati Niger, has released a new collaborative single titled “Kina Burgeni Balaraba,” joining forces with fellow veteran Naziru Sarkin Waka for a record steeped in Northern Nigerian love-song tradition.
The track, released under Maishadda Global Resources, blends Fati Niger’s expressive, melody-forward vocals with Naziru Sarkin Waka’s commanding delivery, a pairing that brings together two of Hausa music’s most established voices on a single record.
“Kina Burgeni Balaraba” continues Fati Niger’s decades-long run as one of the genre’s most prolific artists, adding to a catalogue of more than 500 songs while showing she remains as active as ever heading into the back half of 2026.
