Iyabo Ojo has called out Tanzanian blogger Mange Kimambi over a social media post aimed at her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, and her son-in-law, Juma Jux. The Nollywood actress didn’t hold back after Kimambi asked the couple to stay off social media during Tanzania’s election season.
Priscilla, who recently married Juma Jux, has been enjoying married life in Tanzania and posting content about her new home. But this did not sit well with Kimambi. The blogger made a lengthy post on Instagram, starting off with compliments but quickly turning into a warning.
“Your Tanzanian in-laws love you. You seem like such a sweet girl, we have welcomed you in our country with loving arms but Tanzania is in a fight of a life time. We are fighting for our rights,” she wrote.
Kimambi claimed the couple’s posts were distracting citizens from the political movement and demanded they stop posting for the next five months. “We don’t need you and Jux to distract our people with stupid content that the government wants you guys to post.”

Iyabo Ojo responded strongly. “I’m appalled by your audacity! Referring to my daughter and her husband in such a manner, calling their content stupid, trying to drum fear and intimidation, this is unacceptable.”
She also addressed the wedding rumours, clarifying that the event was funded by her family, not the Tanzanian government. Ojo ended with a clear message: “Keep my daughter out of your affairs. She’ll post what she likes, when she likes, and how she likes. She doesn’t need you to love her. She is very loved and well loved. We protect our own. Never forget that.”
Priscilla and Jux have not responded publicly and seem focused on enjoying married life.
