Nollywood actress and social advocate Iyabo Ojo has reacted to shocking videos online showing men wishing her death. In the past two days, clips went viral showing a group of men in Lagos holding placards with Iyabo’s photo and late singer Mohbad’s. They accused her of blocking justice for the singer.

Men parade with placards cursing Iyabo Ojo over Mohbad case.
One man, who led the group, even said the recent fire at Iyabo’s Lagos office was only the start of God’s punishment. He warned that she and her family would face worse soon.
Iyabo Ojo responded with an emotional statement on Instagram. She explained her role in the Justice for Mohbad campaign. She said she was invited by the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre in Abuja after people petitioned that she was cyberbullying and spreading false claims about Mohbad’s death. She clarified that she never accused anyone of killing him. She only asked some people to go to the police to clear their names.

Iyabo Ojo, a mother of two, has shared how stressed she feels since asking for an investigation into Mohbad’s death. She said people keep harassing, insulting, and threatening her because she is fighting for justice.
She also revealed that just days before her daughter’s wedding in Tanzania, she got a letter that threatened her life. The letter said she would “go through hell in the next three months.” This left her feeling very scared.
Iyabo added that her political views during the last elections made things worse. She has faced more insults, attacks, and intimidation. Still, she remains strong in her faith and believes that God will protect her.
She ended her post by thanking everyone who has supported her, including fans, friends, and the authorities. Many of her followers have been sending prayers and kind words, praising her for her courage.
