Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has finally revealed the truth about his earliest work as a producer and how it shaped his journey in the movie industry. Many fans believe his first production was Wale Danger, yet Adedimeji clarified that his actual debut project was O Se Regi, a film he produced in 2007/2008.
According to him, he invested all his passion and energy into the movie; however, the project failed to succeed. Although the disappointment hit him hard, he refused to let the setback stop him. Instead, he continued pushing, taking every opportunity available and performing several roles for free just to stay active in the industry.
As he explained, years of persistence paid off in 2013 when Kudi Klepto changed the course of his career. Yewande Adekoya, who produced the film, handpicked him for the lead role despite critics questioning his relevance at the time. She believed in his talent and chose him when few recognized his potential.
Adedimeji credited this moment as the beginning of his rise, emphasizing that hard work, patience, and faith guided him through the toughest stages of his journey. He expressed gratitude for his growth, noting that failure in his first production strengthened his determination rather than discouraging him.
