Legendary juju musician King Sunny Ade has put to rest recent rumours about his alleged disappearance, assuring fans that he is safe and in good health. The music icon addressed the issue in a live video shared on social media, where he firmly stated, “Nobody kidnapped me. I pray, as I don’t want anybody to kidnap me. I believe that the whole world is in love with me.”
Concerns were raised earlier in the week when Damilola Adegeye took to Instagram claiming her father was missing. She also accused his stepbrother, Dayo, of holding the veteran singer against his will. The post caused widespread panic among fans and followers who feared for the wellbeing of the legendary artist.

In response, King Sunny Ade’s son and manager, Dayo Adegeye, dismissed the claims, calling them false and an attempt to damage the reputation of the highly respected musician. He clarified that the claims were baseless and not reflective of the current situation.
The 77-year-old singer, fondly known as KSA, revealed that he has been actively performing and even had a show in Lekki, Lagos, just last Saturday. He also mentioned that he is on his way to another performance and will soon return to Lagos for another gig.
