Producer Spotlight

Ewomazeeno Foster

Zeeno Foster, born Ewomazeeno Foster, is a Nigerian audio engineer, record producer, and entrepreneur widely respected for mixing and mastering some of Nollywood-era Afrobeat and Afropop’s most significant albums.

Born on April 8, 1971, in Delta State, Zeeno Foster built his career during the formative years of Nigeria’s modern recording industry, developing a reputation for technical precision behind the mixing board rather than as a beatmaker in the mould of younger producers.

His production and engineering credits include P-Square’s Game Over in 2007, Wizkid’s debut album Superstar in 2011, and Flavour’s Thankful in 2014, three of the most commercially significant Nigerian albums of their respective eras. He also worked on 2Baba’s The Ascension in 2014, an album that debuted at number 12 on the Billboard World Albums chart, underlining the international reach of his engineering work.

Over more than two decades active in the industry, Zeeno Foster has built a reputation among artists and fellow producers as a dependable hand for polishing full-length projects, a less visible but equally essential role compared to the producers who craft individual beats.

Beyond his technical work, Zeeno Foster has also built out entrepreneurial ventures within the Nigerian music industry, reflecting a career that spans both the creative and business sides of Afrobeats’ rise to global prominence.
