Hausa music veteran Nazifi Asnanic has released a new single titled “Nana,” a collaboration with fellow vocalist Shamsiyya Sadi that continues his run of steady releases into 2026.
The track arrives as part of the Nana Sound Track project and finds the Kano-born ‘Golden Voice’ in familiar territory, pairing his smooth, emotive delivery with Shamsiyya Sadi’s vocals for a record built around the kind of heartfelt storytelling that has defined his catalogue for more than two decades.
“Nana” adds to a busy stretch for Nazifi Asnanic, who has kept up a consistent release schedule in recent years while remaining one of the most in-demand collaborators in Hausa music, regularly featured alongside peers like Fati Niger, Hamisu Breaker and Ado Gwanja.
