Early Life
Rosaline Ufuoma Meurer was born on February 15, 1992, in The Gambia to a Dutch father and Nigerian mother from Delta State. Raised in The Gambia, she completed her early education there and later earned a diploma in business management while also studying photography. As the eldest of three children, Meurer initially dreamed of becoming a pilot or air hostess.
Career
Meurer began her career as a model before transitioning to acting in 2009 after being discovered by Desmond Elliot. She moved to Nigeria and landed small roles in Spellbound, In the Cupboard, and Weekend Getaway. After a short academic break, she returned to acting in 2014 with a lead role in the TV series Oasis.
She continued to gain prominence with roles in Damaged Petal, Red Card, Open Marriage, and Our Dirty Little Secret. In 2018, she gained widespread attention for her performance as Kemi Alesinloye in Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons. That same year, she played lead roles in Karma and also produced her first movie, The Therapistโs Therapy.
In addition to acting, Meurer is involved in philanthropy. In 2017, she completed a water project for Udu Main Market and donated to expectant mothers as an ambassador for the Big Church Foundation on Women and Children. She is also a brand ambassador for Multisheen Ebony. Meurer is married to Olakunle Churchill and is a mother of two.
