Early Life
Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi, born Olutoyin Aimakhu on 5 September 1980 in Auchi, Edo State, is a prominent Nigerian actress, filmmaker, and producer. She began her acting career in 2003 when actress Bukky Wright came to Ibadan to shoot a movie, sparking her interest and setting her on a path to stardom.
Career
Since her debut, Toyin Abraham has built an impressive career in Nollywood, both in front of and behind the camera. She has featured in, directed, and produced several successful films, including Alani Baba Labake, Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper, Fate of Alakada, and Ebimi Ni. Her performance in Ebimi Ni earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards.
Beyond acting, she starred in Black Val and gained further recognition through her reality show, Keeping Up With Toyin Aimakhu, managed by Tinimash Entertainment. Toyin is also the founder of Toyin Abraham Productions, a growing force in the Nigerian film industry.
In 2020, she became the brand ambassador for Revolution Plus Properties, a major real estate company based in Lagos, further showcasing her business acumen.
