Islamic cleric Olopameta has shared a troubling prediction that Fuji star Saheed Osupa might die on January 10, 2026. The prophecy circulated in a viral video and quickly drew reactions from fans, sparking discussions about faith, celebrity, and divine messages in Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
According to the cleric, the prophecy was a divine revelation shown to him by God. He warned that the predicted outcome could occur unless specific spiritual actions were taken. Emphasizing the seriousness of his message, Olopameta highlighted the importance of prayers and rituals to protect the musician. “This prophecy is from God. If nothing is done, King Saheed Osupa might die on January 10,” he said, stressing the urgency of the claim.
Olopameta also explained how the prophecy could be averted. He suggested a combination of religious sacrifices and prayers could change the outcome. The cleric recommended a white ram sacrifice and the inclusion of his name in the prayers to safeguard Osupa’s life. “I have prayed and appealed to Allah to spare his life. The prophecy can be averted with a white ram sacrifice and prayers mentioning my name,” he added, reinforcing the conditional nature of his prediction.
As of now, Saheed Osupa has not responded publicly to the prophecy. Reactions online remain mixed. Some fans dismissed the prophecy as unfounded, while others expressed concern and urged respect for spiritual claims. The situation highlights the intersection of faith, superstition, and celebrity in Nigeria’s music industry. It also shows how religious figures can influence public perception.
The controversy illustrates the challenges entertainers face when prophecies target them, especially in an era where social media spreads every claim quickly. Fans continue to debate the validity of such revelations while waiting for any official statement from Osupa or his management team.
