Tiwa Savage has released her long-awaited fourth studio album, This One Is Personal, marking her first project in five years.
The 13-track album, recorded in Nashville, London, and Lagos, showcases a deeply vulnerable side of the Afrobeats star.
Unlike her previous works, Tiwa kept collaborations minimal, featuring only Skepta, Taves, and James Fauntleroy.
Standout songs include Angel Dust, Scared of Love, and You’re Not the First (You’re Just the…).
The project also features a reflective interlude, reinforcing the personal theme that defines the album. Tiwa describes the project as her most therapeutic work, with each track drawn from lived experiences.
Lead single On the Low featuring Skepta set the tone, blending Afrobeats with UK R&B influences. Fans welcomed the album with excitement, making #ThisOneIsPersonal trend worldwide upon release.
