Released in January 2025 through Dapstrem Entertainment, “Karuwa” started as a TikTok-driven moment before growing into a full streaming success, with fans across Kano, Maiduguri and beyond turning it into a dance and lyric trend online. UK Boy, who fuses Afrobeats production with Hausa drill textures, has built much of his following directly through short-form video content, sharing regular updates, dance challenges and lyric breakdowns of the track with his audience.
