Biography:
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, was born on July 16, 1990, in Surulere, Lagos. He gained fame with his debut album Superstar in 2011 and has since become one of Africa’s most influential musicians. Wizkid’s fusion of Afrobeats, R&B, and pop has earned him international recognition, including a Grammy Award for his collaboration with Beyoncé on Brown Skin Girl.
