Early Life

Olabinjo Ayotunde Quam, professionally known as T Dollar, was born on April 19, 2003, in Lagos State, Nigeria. Though originally from Ogijo in Ogun State, he spent his early years in Lagos.

He attended Community High School in Ogijo, where he discovered his passion for music. While he initially dreamed of becoming a professional footballer, he gradually shifted his focus to music, rapping and singing during his secondary school years.

Career

T Dollar began performing in junior secondary school, taking part in rap battles and sharing freestyles on platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook. His turning point came in 2020 when he posted a freestyle of his track “Rise” on social media. The song caught attention, and he signed with D6R Entertainment, a record label owned by Double6ix.

He launched his debut album Born 2 Shine under D6R, featuring tracks like “Ologo Forever,” “Consistency,” “Our Father,” and “On God.” The project showcased his blend of street-inspired lyrics, soulful melodies, and spiritual undertones.

In April 2022, T Dollar released his EP Rise, a 6-track project including songs like “One Day,” “Our Father” featuring Harrysong and Oladips, “No Stress,” and “Grace” with Otega. Each track resonated with fans, further solidifying his status as a rising star.

In July 2023, he dropped the single “G B H S (Guided by Holy Spirit),” continuing his momentum with a message-driven sound. T Dollar remains a promising voice in Nigeria’s evolving music scene.
