Early Life
Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, was born on December 5, 1989. He started music at the age of seven, collaborating early on with Rodney Malice, which helped shape his love for music and performance. His early exposure to songwriting and vocal recording set the stage for his dynamic evolution in the music industry.
Career
Peruzzi launched his professional music career in 2016 under Golden Boy Records. By 2018, he joined Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), a move that positioned him as one of the core members of Davido’s 30 Billion Gang (30BG), alongside acts like B-Red and Tunegee.
He broke into the mainstream when he featured on 2Baba’s chart-topping single Amaka, gaining massive acclaim for his soulful delivery.
That same year, he also released Majesty off his Heartwork EP. The song, paired with a captivating video featuring reality star Cee-C, silenced critics who claimed he only thrived on features.
Since joining DMW, Peruzzi has also written and recorded hit after hit, cementing his place as one of Afrobeats’ most versatile vocalists and songwriters. Known for his lyrical depth and rhythmic finesse, he earned the nickname “The Vibe Machine” for his ability to inject emotion and groove into every track.
