Street-pop artist Seyi Vibez has made history in the Nigerian music industry by achieving the highest streaming tally for any artist in a single calendar year. Data from TurnTable Charts, Nigeria’s leading music data aggregator, shows that he amassed 724 million on-demand streams across all digital platforms in 2025.
With this total, Seyi Vibez becomes the first artist in Nigeria to surpass 700 million annual streams. He topped the 2025 year-end list, ahead of Wizkid with 661 million streams, Asake with 613 million, Burna Boy with 505 million, and Fola with 470 million.
This record comes after a strategic expansion of his career, including a partnership with the global label EMPIRE. During the year, he released the Children of Africa EP and the Fujimoto LP, featuring international collaborations with American rappers French Montana, Trippie Redd, and NLE Choppa.
