Usman Bee has returned to “KAUNA” with a full remix, bringing Abdul Hassan and Erm Boii onto the record. The new version arrived on August 21 and now features on Spotify’s Top Hausa 100 playlist.
“Kauna” translates as love, and the remix keeps the song in that register while widening it out across three voices rather than one.
Abdul Hassan is the most established of the trio, with his own run of singles this year including “Abadan” alongside Jamila Sadi.
The Arewa music scene has spent 2026 pushing further onto streaming platforms, with a new generation of Hausa-language acts building audiences alongside established names like Hamisu Breaker and Umar M Shareef.
