Early Life

Stephen Emeka Odimgbe, popularly known as Flashboy, shines as a Nigerian actor, producer, investor, entertainer, and TV personality. Renowned for his charming looks, he often stars in romantic and action-packed Nollywood roles.

Born on September 26, 1989, in Ihiala, Anambra State, Flashboy comes from Okija in Ihiala Local Government Area but spent his formative years in Lagos State. He completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos before enrolling at Madonna University. After dropping out, he later pursued and earned a bachelor’s degree in Management and Planning from Abia State University, Uturu, in 2015.

Career

Flashboy’s acting journey began in his childhood, but he formally joined Nollywood in 2015. His first on-screen role came alongside Yul Edochie, where he earned 7,000 naira. Elder Maya introduced him to the opportunity and gave him multiple scenes to play a prince. Receiving that first paycheck deeply motivated him.

Soon after, Uche Nancy invited him to act in White Hunters alongside Mercy Johnson, Ini Edo, and Funke Akindele. His performance impressed many and opened more doors. His defining moment came in 2016 with the comedy series Professor Johnbull, where he played the unforgettable Flashboy.

Since then, he has featured in over 250 Nollywood films and series. Flashboy often plays roles like prince, king, romantic boyfriend, or village husband. His charisma and talent have made him one of Nollywood’s most in-demand actors.

He has worked with major brands like Glo, MTN, Indomie, and served as a brand ambassador for Boolu Ogbe. His excellent performance has earned him multiple award nominations and wins.
