Early Life
Taye Arimoro was born in Ilesha, Osun State, Nigeria.He earned recognition for his talent while in secondary school, where he won a “Best Actor” award during stage performances.
He later studied Chemistry at the University of Lagos while pursuing acting opportunities.
Career
Taye began his acting journey around 2013, making his professional debut on EbonyLife TV’s sitcom “Ojo’s in D’ House.”His major break came when he landed the role of Osaze in Ndani TV’s acclaimed web series Game On (2020–2022).
Since then, he has appeared in several notable films and shows, including Casa de Novia, Criminal, Small Talk, Roses & Ivy, and the series When Love Strikes.
He also featured in the mini-series Inside Life, showcasing his versatility.Taye has spoken publicly about the challenges he faced in the industry. According to him, he lost roles because producers prioritized actors with large Instagram followings.
Despite this, he has grown his recognition on merit and remains confident in his craft. In 2025, he made headlines for alleging that he was assaulted on a film set by his colleague Peggy Ovire and her crew. He claims the incident led to visible injuries, a blocked exit, and damage to his vehicle.
