Reality TV star Phyna Otabor has shared a deeply emotional update regarding her sister Ruth’s health following a tragic accident involving a Dangote truck driven by an underage, unlicensed driver. The incident, which occurred shortly after Ruth’s graduation, left her with devastating injuries that led to the amputation of her left leg and a risk of losing the right.
Phyna confronted representatives of Dangote’s company, demanding proper medical care abroad for her sister. The officials initially agreed and moved Ruth to Lagoon Hospital in Lagos as a temporary measure. At their request, Phyna submitted a detailed medical report to support the plan for overseas treatment.
However, the situation took an unexpected turn when the representatives stated they would seek further medical opinions before proceeding, contradicting their earlier agreement. They then asked Phyna to obtain an additional report from Lagoon Hospital, confirming it could not manage Ruth’s case.
To Phyna’s dismay, the same representative she had been in constant communication with stopped responding for over 24 hours, raising concerns about transparency and accountability. Feeling sidelined and fearing for her sister’s well-being, Phyna made a public appeal to billionaire Aliko Dangote, urging that Ruth must not suffer further delays or neglect.
