Popular content creator and livestream host, Peller, has gone viral after an emotional broadcast. He revealed that the organisers of the 2025 Headies Awards revoked his invitation to livestream the event at the last minute, despite earlier agreements.
On April 27, 2025, Peller went live to share his heartbreak. He said he had promoted his participation heavily, telling fans and posting about it across all his platforms. However, just before the event, the organisers reportedly changed their minds and gave him new conditions. During the livestream, Peller broke down in tears while explaining what happened.
“I had told lots of people, I put it on my channels and everywhere,” he said. “Now people are talking to me anyhow and saying my glory isn’t enough for the Headies. I’m not happy about this at all.”
Peller claimed that after preparing and investing time and money, the organisers stopped responding to his calls. He stressed that he had no intention of making money from the stream. Instead, he simply wanted to cover the event and share the experience with his audience.
“I no send anybody papa, these people don’t help people and they’re very wicked,” he added. “I only wanted to be on the red carpet to interview people.”
Peller also expressed disappointment with how the event was managed. He questioned some of the choices made by the organisers and said they should compensate him for his expenses.
As of the time of this report, the Headies organisers have not officially responded to Peller’s claims.
