Early Life

Born on November 5, 1984, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Dunsin Oyekan grew up in a music-loving home. He attended Airforce Nursery and Primary School, Federal Government College, and Baptist Model High School, all in Ilorin.

His academic path led him to the University of Ilorin, where he studied Industrial Chemistry. However, music called him early he picked up the guitar at age 10 and never looked back.

Career

Encouraged by his father, Dunsin developed his musical talent from a young age. He mastered several instruments, including the guitar, drums, and keyboard. He later served as a music director, most notably with the Avalanche choir at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly.

In 2014, he transitioned into full-time ministry. His worship focuses on revival, intimacy with God, and the message of salvation. Albums like Code Red (2016) and The Gospel of the Kingdom (2020) reflect his deep spiritual convictions and musical creativity.

Dunsin married Adedoyin Oyekan in 2013. They had two children together. Sadly, she passed away in 2019, a loss that deeply shaped his spiritual journey and music.

Dunsin Oyekan continues to lead a generation in passionate, spirit-led worship. His dedication to creating music that stirs revival and connects people to God sets him apart in the gospel music world. Through every song and stage, he remains committed to honoring God and transforming lives through worship.
