Early Life
Sunmisola Elizabeth Agbebi Okeleye, popularly known as Sunmisola Agbebi, was born on May 2, 2003, in Lagos State, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Kayode Agbebi.
She showed musical promise early in life and began performing at just four years old, marking the beginning of a journey deeply rooted in worship and sound ministry.
Career
Sunmisola took her first major step into the spotlight when she won the Ikorodu Radio Music Challenge in 2017. Her unique voice and heartfelt delivery gained her attention, especially through gospel song covers that circulated widely. In 2022, she organized her own live recording concert titled AIIIH (As It Is In Heaven) at Charis Event Center in Lagos. There, she debuted a new version of My Daddy, My Daddy alongside Lawrence Oyor.
She continued her rise by performing internationally, including a special appearance at the Dubai Expo in 2022 with Grammy-winner A. R. Rahman and the Firdaus Orchestra. She also featured in events like Joe Mettle’s Christmas concert and collaborated with Folabi Nuel on He’s Alive in 2023.
Sunmisola got engaged to fellow gospel artist Yinka Okeleye on March 2, 2023. Their marriage introduction followed shortly after, and the couple tied the knot on June 3, 2023. Together, they engage in spontaneous worship and music ministry.
Sunmisola Agbebi continues to blaze a trail in gospel music with her passion, voice, and spirit-led worship, shaping the sound of this generation.
