VeryDarkMan is calling out music executive Soso Soberekon over what he describes as a huge disrespect. The social media activist slammed Soso for offering him N120 million to fight singer Portable in a boxing match.
In a recent Instagram video, VeryDarkMan made it clear he was not impressed by the offer. He described it as insulting and claimed it did not reflect his value. According to him, he once rejected a $100,000 offer to fight American rapper 50 Cent in 2024. He said the fight did not happen because he demanded $1 million instead, since 50 Cent was reportedly set to receive $5 million.
He explained that the proposal was backed by Tunde Ednut and the president of the boxing federation, Omo-Agege. However, the deal fell through due to financial disagreements. VeryDarkMan added that after returning from China earlier this year, another offer was made, but the payment was still not good enough.
He stated that N100 million is nothing compared to what he has spent on charity lately. In his words, that amount can’t even buy a good house in Abuja. He called Soso’s proposal completely out of touch with his worth. He boldly said, “If you want me to fight, you go bring $500,000 first before I can sit together with you to discuss the balance.”
VeryDarkMan ended by advising Soso to respect himself and stop mentioning his name unless he is ready to provide the right amount. As the drama unfolds, fans are now waiting to hear Portable’s reaction and if the fight will actually happen.
