Yemzzy, born Adeola Adeyemi Olamide, hails from Osun State in southwestern Nigeria. His deep connection to music began early in life and would later inspire his sound and message. Career
Yemzzy officially entered the Nigerian music scene with the release of his debut EP titled Son of Moses on January 28, 2021. The seven-track project features songs such as “Amaka,” “How Long,” and “Remember.” Each song carries a message, weaving themes of love, growth, pain, and self-discovery through melodic Afro-pop beats.
He also crafted the EP as a tribute to his late father, Deacon Moses Adeola, presenting it as a heartfelt message from a son to a beloved parent. The project not only introduced Yemzzy’s sound but also showcased his lyrical depth and emotional authenticity.
Through his unique fusion of Afrobeats and introspective storytelling, Yemzzy continues to grow his fanbase, standing out in a competitive music industry.
