Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has clarified the identity of a man seen embracing her in a viral video from her son King Andre’s 10th birthday celebration. The actress confirmed that the individual is her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill’s uncle, not Churchill himself.

The clarification comes after widespread online speculation suggesting Dikeh shared an intimate moment with her former husband at the football-themed party in Abuja. She described the circulating narrative as both “inappropriate” and “inaccurate.”

“This is completely inappropriate and inaccurate. He is Churchill’s uncle and by extension, my uncle as well,” Dikeh wrote in an Instagram comment.

Tonto Dikeh also highlighted her long-standing bond with the uncle and his wife, Aunty Vivian, who cared for her during her pregnancy.

“My son was born in his home, under his care and protection. His wife, Aunty Vivian, was the one who took me to the hospital when I went into labor,” she revealed.
“They opened their home to me for six months… They did this out of love, with no hesitation.”

Addressing the effect of the viral reports, Dikeh emphasized the importance of respecting all families involved.

“This narrative is deeply disrespectful to him, to me, and to our families. I would appreciate more thoughtfulness and sensitivity moving forward, please,” she added.

Despite the clarification regarding the uncle, the event also featured a public reconciliation between Dikeh and Churchill. During the celebration, she expressed gratitude to her ex-husband:

“Churchill, you are an amazing father and I just want to thank you so much. Thank you. I love you with the love of God and I wish you all the best.”

Churchill has not made a formal statement but was seen acknowledging Dikeh’s praise. The party marked their first major public appearance together following a decade of conflict, highlighting a notable moment of family unity.
