Cobhams Asuquo has announced the sixth edition of his live concert experience, “Songs and Stories,” which will take place in Abuja.
The concert is scheduled to hold at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Abuja. The event will feature guest performances from notable Nigerian vocalists Johnny Drille, Timi Dakolo, and Korede Bello.
“Songs and Stories” follows a format that differs from conventional pop concerts. The experience blends live instrumentation with storytelling, allowing Asuquo to guide audiences through his musical catalogue while sharing the inspirations and behind-the-scenes moments that shaped his career.
Asuquo explained that the concert is designed to offer audiences a closer look at the journey behind his music.
“Songs and Stories is about more than performing songs.”
Cobhams added that the show provides an opportunity to explore the people and experiences that influenced his creative path.
“It’s about sharing the journey behind the music — the people, the moments, and the experiences that shaped it. Abuja has always been a wonderful audience, and I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with some incredible artists and friends.”
The upcoming edition of the concert is supported by several corporate partners. These include Legend Extra Stout, Wema Bank, The Macallan, and Transcorp Hilton Hotel.
Additional support comes from Pepsi, Pennek Nigeria, Abysteph Global Link, Akins Corporate Services, Castle Lite, and Four Cousins.
The concert focuses on musical connection and immersion. Through carefully arranged live performances, the show highlights the craft and storytelling behind each composition.
Over the years, Asuquo has worked with international figures including Bono, Davido, and Angélique Kidjo.
Tickets and attendance details for the 6:00 PM concert have been made available through the event’s official partners.
