Early Life
Oluebube Nwagbo, known professionally as Ebube Nwagbo, was born on 24 February 1983 in Umuchu, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria, the eldest of six children. She grew up in Warri, Delta State, where she completed her primary education, before earning a National Diploma in Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic Oko in Anambra State and later a degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Career
Ebube Nwagbo began her acting career in 2003 at the age of 20, starting with auditions and minor roles before landing her breakout part in ‘Arrested by Love,’ alongside Jim Iyke. She followed with further attention-grabbing performances in ‘Eyes of the Nun’ (2009), ‘The Evil Queen’ (2008) and ‘100 Days in the Jungle’ (2007), roles that established her as one of Nollywood’s most recognisable romantic leads.
Over more than two decades in the industry, Nwagbo has featured in more than 150 films, building a reputation for her beauty and her interpretation of romantic roles. Beyond acting, she has built a significant business portfolio, founding the hair extensions brand PoshHair by EB and the entertainment company PoshWorld Productions, extending her influence into entrepreneurship alongside her screen career.
Personal Life
Ebube Nwagbo lost her mother in January 2021 following an undisclosed illness, a loss she shared with fans on social media. She remains the eldest of six siblings, three brothers and three sisters, and has continued to balance her acting career with her growing business ventures.
