Early Life

Flavour N’abania, born in Enugu State, Nigeria, hails from Umunze in Anambra State. He grew up immersed in music, with his musical journey beginning at age 13 when he played the drums for his church choir in Enugu.

His musical talents were quickly recognized, and he was introduced to Chris I. Ordor, CEO of SoundCity Communications, which paved the way for his musical education.

Flavour received an educational scholarship in 1996, studying music at SoundCity. By the late ’90s, he expanded his skill set to include playing the keyboard and providing back-up vocals.

Breakthrough and Career Expansion

In 2005, Flavour launched his debut album N’abania, showcasing his remarkable sound and catching the attention of music fans. In 2010, he released Uplifted, his second album, which included hit singles like “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix),” “Adamma,” and “Oyi Remix.”

The success of Uplifted propelled Flavour into the limelight, solidifying his reputation as one of Africa’s most sought-after artists. As a result, he was booked for numerous concerts and social events, spreading his influence beyond Nigeria and across the African continent.

Flavour’s ability to fluently sing in his native Igbo language became one of his signature traits, and his unique style won him a large following across the globe.

His musical versatility and stage presence made him a household name in Africa and beyond. Throughout his career, Flavour has consistently built upon his early foundation, evolving into a musical icon.
