Early Life and Career
Sean Tizzle, born Morihanfen Oluwaseun Oluwabamide hails from a Christian family and is the fourth of five children. Although born in Ikeja, Lagos, he grew up in Ikorodu, a bustling city that played a significant role in shaping his early years. Sean attended the Community Grammar School in Majidun before moving to the Command Secondary School in Ibadan. His educational journey continued at the University of Ibadan, where he studied Theatre Arts, a field that gave him a solid foundation in the arts and performance.
From a young age, Sean’s passion for music was undeniable. Initially, he pursued rap, joining the 3-Way band where he honed his musical talents.
His early interest in music grew as he began exploring different sounds and genres, eventually leading him to the Afrobeat scene where he found his true calling.
Sean’s career took a massive leap in 2013 after the release of his smash hit single “Sho Lee.” The song became a nationwide anthem, quickly making Sean a household name in Nigeria’s music industry. The track’s infectious beat and catchy hook were complemented by a highly successful music video directed by Unlimited L.A, which skyrocketed Sean’s popularity.
In 2014, Sean Tizzle’s star continued to rise as he signed a 20 million naira endorsement deal with MTA Nigeria. The deal solidified his place as one of the country’s most sought-after artists.
That same year, Sean also landed an ambassadorship with Bacardi Breezer, further establishing his presence in the entertainment industry. His talent, charisma, and strategic collaborations set him up for long-term success in the competitive Nigerian music scene
