Popular Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has opened up about his personal fears surrounding love, relationships, and remarriage. Despite his fame and success, the 42-year-old producer admitted that vulnerability in relationships no longer comes easily.
Reflecting on his parents’ enduring love before his mother passed away, Don Jazzy acknowledged that such examples inspire him and fuel his desire for a meaningful partnership. However, he explained that public relationship scandals on social media make him cautious about commitment.
“There are good ones, there are bad ones. Some men are violent, chronic cheats, and when relationships break down publicly, it gives me fear,” he said.
Financial concerns also influence his hesitation to remarry. Don Jazzy pointed out that men often lose substantial wealth in divorce settlements, especially without prenuptial agreements, and he wants to preserve his hard-earned resources for future generations.
Although he has dated since his 2005 divorce, Don Jazzy remains single, emphasizing that he is waiting for the right person. He also questioned his own readiness for commitment, acknowledging his ongoing personal growth.
Over the years, he has matured emotionally and spiritually, striving to become a better person. In addition, he shared admiration for various artists, noting that creative inspiration comes from many sources, including legends like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, 2Face, D’banj, Olamide, and Johnny Drille.
